Let’s chat! I offer a no-fee 15 minute consultation for prospective clients to gather information and answer any questions you may have. This can help us determine if equine therapy is a good fit for you. Feel free to email me or use the contact submission form to schedule a consultation.

Individual Equine-Guided Therapy session: $200
*Sliding scale and low fee spots are reserved for clients with financial constraints and may be an option based on availability and individual client need. If cost is a consideration, please be in touch with me and I'll do my best to work with you. If I cannot accommodate you for any reason, I will help you find a therapist who can.

No prior horse experience is needed to participate. Your facilitator, an equine specialist, is trained in horse behavior and adaptations, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

Sessions are currently offered on-site at Hearts Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Santa Barbara, CA.

Most individual sessions are 60 minutes. The frequency and length of the sessions are something that the client and I discuss, and may change depending on need.

I currently do not accept insurance. However, I provide clients with a superbill that can be submitted for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to see if this is an option for your plan. Superbills will be issued monthly and can also be provided upon request.

For Equine-Guided Psychotherapy it is recommended to start with around six counseling sessions, although more or fewer may be suitable depending on individual circumstances.
Clients are encouraged to play an active role in deciding how many sessions they feel are necessary based on their goals. The duration will also vary according to the specific issues presented.
After 12 weeks of meeting, your therapist will recommend next steps as far continuing or concluding therapy.

Equine-Guided Therapy focuses on establishing a relationship with the horse through unmounted experiences and ground-based activities. Clients will have the opportunity to engage in groundwork and learn essential horsemanship skills that are foundational to developing a meaningful relationship with the horse.
